Destination Elopement with family and friends

We shoot so many beautiful weddings but there are some that captivate us by their sheer simplicity wrapped in elegance. This wedding was beautiful. The couple celebrated with close family and friends- a destination elopement trend we are seeing a lot of (and we love!) - on an extremely hot December afternoon. I appreciated Nikki for having gone through the timeline diligently but there were no other constraints or expectations other than capturing their day as it happened. Everything about their day provoked emotion and smiles. Their unassuming character made for amazing captures as their love and beauty shone through. The couple also loves black and white photos and the contrasts naturally going on throughout the day made for some stunning images.

Having a structured but relaxed timeline due to the nature of the elopement, the couple was able to have first looks and mingle pre ceremony. The ceremony was officiated by a friend and parents walked the groom then the bride down the aisle. After a short and emotional ceremony the couple relaxed with friends and family before heading to the Soufriere beach for photos. They returned just before sunset to catch some of that St Lucian sunset warm glow and sneak in a few more photos together. We enjoyed every moment spent with this family and had an amazing experience with them!
