A Rainy Romance at Calabash Cove, St Lucia

On the afternoon of Katie and Jake’s wedding, the skies opened up and rain poured endlessly. The day was moody and overcast, and the golden sunset that usually paints Calabash Cove was nowhere to be seen. As we waited and watched the rain fall, everyone hoped for a break in the weather—but the ceremony began in a gentle drizzle instead.

Sheltered by the thoughtful hotel staff holding small umbrellas, we kept capturing every moment—raindrops and all. Eventually, the clouds lifted just long enough for post-ceremony portraits, and the misty, romantic atmosphere turned out to be pure magic. The soft light, moody skies, and Katie’s stunning gown came together perfectly.
